Critical Care Physician Assistant, Louisiana - CTICU Day Shifts

Join a transplant-level CTICU team near New Orleans for day-only ICU coverage.


Highlights

  • 12-hour day shifts only (7a-7p)
  • No call, no nights
  • High-acuity, transplant-focused ICU


Practice Setting

  • Inpatient CTICU at major academic center
  • High-volume transplant and ECMO service
  • Team includes attendings, hospitalists, and cardiac intensivists
  • Adult-only ICU population


Schedule

  • 7a-7p day shifts; no night coverage
  • Not locked into rigid block schedule
  • 8-10 patients per shift with 1-2 daily admits


Cases and Procedures

  • Cardiac ICU cases: transplant, ECMO, vent management
  • No procedure or line placement required
  • Shared admit responsibilities with affiliated academic partner


Requirements

  • Certified Physician Assistant with Acute Care training
  • Active Louisiana license
  • BLS, ACLS, and DEA required
